A lot of dogs can get anxious when left alone and can get overwhelmed around dogs they don’t know.

Understanding a dogs behaviour is key to recognising problems that need to be addressed to help them overcome issues like anxiety. 

Doggy day care can be the best for anxious dogs as they will be given attention throughout the whole day. We will also provide a safe environment where they can build their confidence. Dogs will be allocated a dog carer who can work with them on a daily basis.

A perfect example can be seen in our Mango’s doggy day care success story. 

Mango was very anxious around dogs she didn’t know. To help combat this she was given a slow introduction into our doggy day care settings to help her settle. With support from her devoted carers, a day care plan was put in place to monitor, manage and modify her time with us to best suit her needs. Within a few weeks she made great progress and now loves her time at Bruce’s.

Our dachshund dogs particularly love this area as it’s perfect for their little legs.
