The first six months of a puppy’s life are key in ensuring they gain those vital life and social skills.
Our preschool is dedicated to nurturing development and providing a safe and fun environment for puppies to prepare for the wider world.
With a structure that combines socialisation and enrichment we use positive reinforcement carrying them through to our graduation process.

Following a welcome meeting where we get to know your puppy we will introduce them to their regular puppy friends and engage in some activities that will engage their minds and bodies.
After lunch it’s very important the puppy catches up on their sleep. Our indoor space is the perfect place for some downtime and naps. We will always keep you updated on your puppies progress, as well as weekly pictures.
Graduating is the biggest step your puppy will make outside of Preschool, so we make sure we set them up for success.
Slowing introducing adult dogs who are experienced with puppies will ensure they feel confident and ready to meet their new friends. We will transition out of preschool across 1 or 2 weeks taking it at their pace.

Your puppy’s first haircut is a milestone to celebrate!
It also sets the tone for how they’ll feel about grooming for the rest of their lives. So, at Bruce’s our aim is to make it an entirely pawsitive experience.
Our patient and loving approach helps get your pup used to the new sights and sounds of the salon, from loud blow dryers to clippers. We’ll warm them up with little sessions keeping it short and sweet, so that by the time it’s comes to a longer groom they’ll be excited to get through the door.
