Keeping Tails Wagging, Whatever the Weather

Kennels

As winter settles in, we know the colder, wetter months can make adventures a little messier, but at Bruce’s, we’ve gone the extra mile to keep our centres ready for anything Mother Nature throws at us. As our dogs will all attest, rain never stops play at Bruce’s!

Across our locations, we’ve made substantial upgrades to ensure that your dogs stay comfortable and happy during their days with us, and clean and tired for hometime!

From brand-new shelters and pathways to bark chipping zones and essential cosy space upgrades, our centres are ready for winter’s chill and mud. Every improvement is made with your dogs’ comfort in mind so that, no matter the weather, their experience at Bruce’s is filled with joy and care.

Here’s a look at some of the highlights from our winter preparation across Bruce’s:

Mandy in wheelbarrow

Cobham

At Cobham, we’ve resurfaced all paths and car parks, tackling muddy spots to keep things clean and safe. Our team has also completed annual maintenance on heaters, pipes, and water tanks, and we’ve upgraded the site’s internet to keep everyone connected.

Country Hills new shelters

Country Hills

We’ve added permanent, all-weather shelters at Country Hills to give dogs a dry space during playtime. Additionally, wood chippings cover all field entrances to reduce mud, and we’ve resurfaced the entrance track for smoother drop-offs and pick-ups for our pups riding VIP-style in our doggy buses.

Tunbridge Wells reception

Tunbridge Wells

To make pick-up easier for you, we’ve reconfigured the customer reception area at Tunbridge Wells, creating a warm, indoor space for waiting – so come on inside! Wood chippings have been added at all field entrances to help keep paws cleaner on those muddy days.

Umberslade Estate

Umberslade has seen some major updates, including fully resurfaced pathways and field entrances, along with new permanent shelters, lots of sensory and scenic planting, and a convenient new sheltered and resurfaced doggy wash station to help keep dogs clean before heading home happy.

Wellington new wash station

Wellington Country Park

This winter, Wellington has undergone an extensive overhaul to tackle boggy areas. With major groundworks to improve drainage in the pipeline, we’ve also added mature planting, and have created a new customer entrance for an easier, dryer way to reach the centre. And don’t forget the fancy new doggy wash station!

Woodcote Green covered area

Woodcote Green

Our Woodcote Green location now has a newly renovated poly-tunnel and extra field space for more room to romp indoors and out. We’ve also added a covered doggy wash area with astroturf footings, keeping dogs fresh and clean for their journey home.
