DIY Lick Art: A Pawfect Craft for You and Your Dog!

Get ready to turn your dog into a pint-sized Picasso with Lick Art – a simple way to create a keepsake you’ll treasure forever, without the mess. Here’s how to make your very own lick-tastic masterpiece, Bruce’s style!

What You’ll Need:

• A small canvas (one that fits inside a ziplock bag)
• 3 – 4 colours of non-toxic, dog-safe acrylic paint
• A ziplock or resealable plastic bag
• Natural peanut butter (make sure it doesn’t contain xylitol)
  

Step 1: Dot the Canvas

Add blobs of different coloured paint directly onto the canvas.

Step 2: Bag It Up

Gently place the canvas into your ziplock bag and seal it tightly. Make sure there’s no air trapped inside so it lies flat and smooth.

Step 3: Peanut Butter Time!

Spread a generous layer of peanut butter on the outside of the plastic bag – right over the canvas area. This is your pup’s incentive to get licking!

Step 5: Let the Licking Begin

Lay the bag flat and let your dog lick, sniff, and smudge the peanut butter. As they go, they’ll smear the paint underneath – creating their own abstract work of art!

Step 6: Dry Time

Once your pup’s had their fun, carefully remove the canvas from the bag and let it dry for about 30 minutes.

Step 7: Admire Their Pawsome Work

Ta-da! You’ve got a beautiful, totally one-of-a-kind lick art piece, made with love (and hopefully no mess!)
