Our First-Ever Doggy Festival

A fun day for our local dog community

We may be used to making tails wag at Bruce’s, but this was the perfect opportunity to put some smiles on human faces too! The day brought together customers from across all of our 10 doggy day care centres, as well as dogs from the local community and beyond, in search of a pawsitive time!

And it was so much more than a social gathering! We are beyond delighted to announce that the day has so far raised a running total of £1,821.42 for our charity partner, Blue Cross – with even more donations expected to roll in over the next few weeks.

This generosity will go a long way in supporting the invaluable work that Blue Cross does for pets in need.

Fun, laughter, and lots of wagging tails

From the moment the gates opened, the field was packed with fun, laughter, and of course, lots of wagging tails! Battlers Green Farm provided the perfect backdrop for our very first festival of fun and we cannot thank them enough for being such welcoming hosts.

We had a great variety of stalls to explore, with something for everyone. From Yakeezee’s delicious yak’s milk treats to Poppetino’s pawsome accessories. A big thank you to PAWD drinks, the latest addition to our Bruce’s Pawtners page for stopping by too!

Loveable pooches strutting their stuff

A doggy festival isn’t complete without a dog show, and it’s safe to say that our Founder, Bruce, had a real task on his hands choosing just one winner from all of the loveable pooches strutting their stuff. At nearly 50 entries into our Handsome Gent category, we were blown away by the talent and personality on display!

The athleticism and agility of each pooch were also put to the test in our Sports Day games area. Noses were pressed firmly to the ground for Hide & Treat, our Agility Course had dogs and pawrents working together, and one of Bruce’s favourites made a comeback – Steeplechase!

Congratulations to everyone who beat the fierce competition and took home a rosette!

Our charity raffle was one of the highlights of the day, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredibly generous donations we received. We had some truly fabulous prizes up for grabs, courtesy of:
