Celebrating All That Is Golden

Breed-specific meet-ups aren’t just adorable to see – they’re great for both pups and their people. Our retriever round-up gave the dogs the chance to socialise with other pups who share their play style, size, and temperament. It also meant our like-minded retriever pawrents were able to get together, swap stories, and share plenty of cuddles in the autumn sunshine.

What a great way to feel part of a community that truly understands what life with a retriever is all about.

Tail-wagging Activities

Our guests enjoyed a range of tail-wagging activities, from creating paw print keepsakes to tucking into tasty treats (for dogs and humans!).

The golden gang explored, played, and made new furry friends, all in the safety and comfort of Cobham’s doggy day care fields. There were smiles all round.

The fabulous Your Petographer joined us again to offer free mini photoshoots, capturing every golden retriever grin and every joyful leap. From regal retriever poses to playful puppy chaos, the photos truly bottled up the day’s magic.

Centre events like our Retriever Round Up are at the heart of what we do at Bruce’s Doggy Day Care. We believe dogs thrive when they have opportunities to play, socialise, and be part of a caring pack and we love giving owners the same sense of connection. Whether it’s through breed meet-ups, seasonal celebrations, or everyday day care, we’re here to make every dog’s tail wag.
