Celebrating Community, Bruce’s Founding Member Events

At Bruce’s, our centres are more than just a day care for dogs, they’re vibrant communities where friendships flourish and memories are made.

One of the ways we bring that spirit to life is through our annual Founding Member events. These special occasions are designed to welcome the first families who join a new centre, giving them the chance to explore, connect, and celebrate the start of their Bruce’s journey. 

Each Founding Member event is filled with excitement from the moment our guests arrive. Dogs get to meet their new canine companions, owners chat with our team and fellow pawrents, and everyone soaks up the atmosphere of a brand-new centre, brimming with possibilities. It’s our way of saying thank you for joining our community from the very beginning, and for trusting us to be a part of your dog’s life.

Every doggy day care event has its own unique character, but the goal is always the same: to build a strong sense of community.

Our Founding Members receive a warm welcome, often with special treats and goodies for both dogs and humans. Activities are designed to be fun and enriching, from paw painting murals to hide-and-treat games, ensuring there’s something for every wagging tail to enjoy. 

It’s also a chance to meet the friendly faces behind our care, the dedicated team members and doggy bus drivers who will become familiar companions to your dog each week. By the end of the day, owners have had the opportunity to form connections with like-minded locals, and dogs have already begun forging friendships that will continue throughout their time at Bruce’s.

Our most recent Founding Member event took place at Bruce’s Altrincham. This celebration was bursting with activities, from steeplechase challenges to puppaccinos, and even expert dog behaviourist advice for curious owners. In the true Bruce’s spirit of giving back, the event also supported the local community, raising over £129 for Manchester & Cheshire Dog Home. 

These events are more than just open days; they’re a statement of what Bruce’s stands for. We believe that dog care should extend beyond our fields and cabins, creating a network of support, friendship, and shared joy between our team, our customers, and the wider community.
