Bruce’s Charity Partnerships & Christmas Giving 2025

At Bruce’s, giving back is one of our greatest joys, and thanks to the generosity of our wonderful community, we’re able to support four incredible animal charities all year round.

Together, our centres donated £9,500 to charity during the 2024–2025 financial year, helping rescue organisations continue their life-changing work.

Last December, we also delivered around four doggy-bus loads of new and used gifts from our customers, including toys, beds and blankets, to our partner charities, helping make Christmas a little brighter for dogs who need extra love and support.

And that’s not all, this festive season, we’ve teamed up with LickiMat to provide enrichment, fun and comfort to dogs spending Christmas in rescue. Together, we’re donating LickiMat bundles, including a mix of LickiMats, Lickeez and a generous extra sprinkle of LickiMat Sprinkles to each of our charity partners.

Manchester & Cheshire Dogs’ Home is a much-loved rescue centre providing safety, rehabilitation and hope to stray and abandoned dogs across the region. They give every dog a chance, working tirelessly to provide the care, comfort and love each dog deserves.

Raystede are dedicated to giving animals a better life through rehoming, rehabilitation and sanctuary. Winter is an especially challenging time for rescue centres, and their team work around the clock to keep their furbulous animals warm, safe and happy.

Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre (DBARC) is an oasis in the heart of Berkshire, providing expert care for rescued animals on their journey to finding a forever home. This December, we’re raising vital funds to help them continue their work through the winter season.

Birmingham Dogs Home provides a warm, safe sanctuary for stray, abandoned and relinquished dogs across the West Midlands. They rescue, care for, and rehome dogs who have nowhere else to turn. They also support local pet owners, deliver vital veterinary care, provide behavioural rehabilitation, and help prevent dogs from being abandoned in the first place. Your donations, time, and trust help them to change lives for dogs, and for the people who love them.

Throughout December, ALL 11 of our centres are running donation stations to collect new and used toys, bedding, dog food and treats to share with our 4 charity partners. Plus a few specific centres will be hosting Christmas events to support our partner charities. Here’s a look at what’s happening across Bruce’s:

• Bruce’s Cookham will be supporting DBarc with a donation station at reception.
• Bruce’s Ditchling will be collecting monetary contributions and gift donations as well as hosting their festive “Dress Our Tree” campaign where you can add your dogs face to our centre’s Christmas tree for a donation towards Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.
