Avon Valley Opening Delayed
We wanted to share a further update on our plans for Avon Valley.
As previously shared, the opening of this new day care centre has been delayed. After careful consideration, these plans are now paused for the foreseeable future, and we’re unable to confirm when the centre will open.
We know this will be disappointing news, especially for those who were hoping to join us locally, and we’re genuinely sorry for the uncertainty this causes.
If circumstances change in the future, we’ll share an update here. In the meantime, thank you for your interest in Bruce’s and for your understanding.

Our Avon Valley Doggy Day Care is nestled between the city of Bristol and Bath in the tranquil countryside. Just a short drive away, Ashton Court Estate offers over 850 acres of open green spaces, woodlands, and pools to explore, making it a dog’s paradise. Similarly, Snuff Mills provides a picturesque riverside walk through woodlands, ideal for dogs that enjoy a splash in the water.
If you’re interested in art, consider joining a dog-friendly street art walking tour to discover Bristol’s rich graffiti culture, including works by the famous Banksy. Whether you’re in the mood for a leisurely walk, a cultural experience, or a relaxing meal, the area around Middlepiece Lane offers plenty to keep both you and your canine companion entertained.
