One of Essex’s most popular dog walking destinations, Thorndon Country Park offers wide open fields & wooded trails. Dogs love exploring the variety of scents, and there’s plenty of space for off-lead adventures.
Thorndon Country Park is open from 8 am til dusk and is split into two parts. Both the North and South parks are fully accessible and have pay-and-display parking available.

Located just outside Brentwood, Weald Country Park is ideal for long walks with panoramic views, open meadows, and woodland. What you can find here:

The Greyhound Inn classes itself as the best dog-friendly pub in Brentwood. Dogs are welcome in their pub and in their outdoor areas. Water bowls and treats are available. Interestingly, the inn is full of history. It was open throughout both World Wars and is said to have served as a refuge for German prisoners of war.
